Fume (or more properly fumé) dials are gradient dials (watch faces) that slowly transition from a darker color on the outer edge of the dial to a lighter color towards the middle of the dial. If the transition is between two different colors rather than lighter or darker hues of the same color then these are sometimes called ombré dials.
