Ballast Watches

The theme behind the Ballast brand is the British Royal Navy Submarine Service, with all of the watches being named after various historical classes of submarine in the service, such as the Trafalgar and Valiant classes. You can also see this on the brand's domain name, ballast1903.com, where 1903 was the year the Royal Navy's first class of British-designed submarines, the A-class, entered service.

Ballast are particularly renowned for their patented bezel system, a unique complication where a watch can be wound or have the date or time adjusted simply by turning the bezel.
